Famend ghazal singer and Padma Shri awardee Pankaj Udhas, greatest recognized for “Chitthi Ayee Hai” and “Aur Ahista Kijiye Baatein”, died on Monday following extended sickness, his daughter Nayab stated. He was 72.

His daughter Nayaab Udhas took to Instagram to announce the information and wrote, “With a really heavy coronary heart, we’re saddened to tell of the unhappy demise of Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas on twenty sixth February 2024 as a consequence of extended sickness.”
